Helping Fund Education
We have a passion...
And we want to help you!
Christ church, Teddington, has from its early days, supported the education of young people in the area. We believe it is important that children and young people from less well-off backgrounds are given opportunities to broaden their educational horizons, and our charity exists for this purpose.
What we have supported
Music
We have enabled children to learn a variety of musical instruments, from piano to trombone.
Study
Over the years we have enabled many young people to attend University, making possible the otherwise impossible with educational grants. (This includes trade education).
Lessons
Among other recreational activities, important for personal development, we have supported swimming lessons, dance classes, boxing and school trips.
Help
The majority of those we support have been primary age children – a time when a little assistance makes a big difference.
