By applying for a grant from Thomas Wilson Educational Trust, all applicants are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions as outlined below:
- We retain the right to refuse any applicant; any applicant has to be domiciled within our support area; any applicant must meet the requirements of the charity aims as set out (and as understood by the Trustees).
- Applicants are required to submit a fresh, new, application for every educational year (or if a one-term or one off grants is given) for which they wish to be considered.
- Receiving a grant for one year, one term, or for a one-off grant, does not guarantee that a subsequent grant will be awarded.
- All applicants must be under the age of 25 at the commencement of their course of study (or when the grant is awarded, in the case of a one-off grant).
- The decision of the trustees regarding grants made, or not made, is final - and is based on the discussions held regarding the merits of each individual application.
- The decisions of the Trustees in any matter of doubt regarding domicile, or age, will be final.
